Today I am writing my Master’s thesis for the next seven hours. I will sustain this writing by listening to Stan Getz and Astrud Gilberto in my big, shiny noise-cancellation headphones. My big, shiny noise-cancellation headphones were provided to me by my very good friend, Leslie Lopez. Leslie Lopez also cooked me chorizo and eggs for a considerably late brunch—because we were up in the late hours being irresponsible with absinthe and fancy martinis. If you don’t have a Leslie Lopez in your life, you should probably get one. Also, you should listen to this song because it is one of my favorites in the whole wide world.
